DMS 417/516: Homework #2

DUE: 24 March (or anytime before then)

Contribute to the public 'commons of ideas'.

Details:

Create some sort of new work - text, image, sound, video, software, whatever - that is entirely your own; i.e. something that you own the copyright to, with no licensing restrictions due to it being derived from some other copyrighted work.

Place the work on a publically accessible web site.

Then, either:

• dedicate the work to the public domain
• or, release under a minimual Creative Commons license - a "by" license, with no other restrictions

Turn in a brief writeup of what the work is, where to find it, and any thoughts/reactions you have regarding giving away your own work for free. E-mail the writeup to me, or hand it in in class.
